As you may or may not have heard, Snoop Dogg was photographed with a good ol' Korean in black face.
"But why, Snoop?" you may ask. "Why don't you give a shit about this??"
First, let's give you some context.
I'm 99% percent sure this is some behind-the-scenes peek behind that Psy-Snoop Dogg MV collab in the works for Psy's impending comeback. This was photographed at Snoop's request. Snoop captioned this with the following:
"Stunt double. Hahahahahah. This nigha here !!So as a black man himself, he should be more than aware of the history behind black face right? But if he posted this as a selfie on his Instagram, he's okay with it?
That means we all get our nigga privileges back amirite.
We've covered these race issues many times in the past, and Asian Junkie especially has done a ton of write-ups on the matter. I don't see the need to tell you why this is a bad thing, and why Snoop Dogg's selfie probably set "black people relations" back to the stone age, and why this will keep happening because Korea as a culture doesn't get why it's a bad thing.
Some might say he's trolling. Some say he's being paid not to give a shit. If you want my opinion, YG is probably keeping him supplied with trainees, won, and GD's weed stash to keep his mouth shut.
