[MV Review] Jolin Tsai - Phony Queen

Based Taiwanese goddess Jolin Tsai has released an MV for "Phony Queen" before her album hits the shelves later this fall.

Based Jolin continues with her EDM music from her "Muse" album. This song sounds like it could have been on that album, but that's a good thing. This song avoids the latest trend of inserting trap beats into every part of the song.

The song is pretty solid, and I find it catchy enough to listen to, but this song lacks a powerful chorus like some of her recent title tracks (such as "Fantasy" or "The Great Artist"), so the song seems to be devoid of certain elements that would make this a great track.

While Jolin is known for her great MVs (really, check out "The Great Artist"), the MVs were always serious and with some message overtly thrown at our faces. In "Phony Queen," Jolin shows off a fun side of herself and does a comedic MV.

You really know that she doesn't mind depreciating herself by wearing a telephone bra.

I honestly expect CL to wear something like this within the next year to the adoration of Blackjacks who will say that she is so trendy.

I wanted to write something witty here about how I wanted to use Jolin's telephone bra to make a call to Jolin so that I could motorboat her something, but all I could think of was Jolin's Tig Ol' Bitties.
