Purfles is the poor man's Bebop

It had to be said.

Rookie group Purfles debuted this week, and everyone slobbered all over themselves blabbing about how it's the best group to debut this year. And by everyone, I mean the five people I saw correctly spell "Purfles" on Twitter.

The trio has been winning people over with its fierce look and sound.

Their debut track "1, 2, 3" is good and all — certainly better than most of the releases from kpop's top veteran groups this year. I'm looking at you, SNSD.

You just had to shit on us one more time
before dropping Sica, didn't you?

Purfles is a hot group, with a great song and a polished boxing-infused video. That's all fine and dandy. But this "Best rookies of 2014" talk? Nonsense. They aren't even the best trio to debut this year with a strong song and fierce boxing concept.

That honor goes to Bebop. Remember them?

Well you should, asshole, because I slobbered all over myself
blabbing about this earlier this year.

And if we're going to throw around the "Best kpop debut of 2014" label, it belongs to Mamamoo anyway, and then, why are we even talking about anyone else?

When will your faves?

Never —  that's fucking when.
