Welcome back, friends. This week, we have a grab bag of stories, including an idol who's aggressive in bed, the story behind a song, and what the future holds for one actor/model.
Also, AOA's Youkyung sees the light of day.
At left, Youkyung: the fallen half-angel |
- Tiffany says she hopes SNSD has a "less dynamic year in 2015." According to my Kpop Idol Pocket Translator, "dynamic" should be read as: "Piece of shit, overly dramatic." We all wish SNSD has a "less dynamic year in 2015."
- Uee says she's a tiger in the sack. I already knew that from experience, but whatevs.
- EXID reveals that their hit "Up&Down" wasn't originally even meant for them. Apparently, several people, including Ailee and Hyuna, wanted the song. Too bad.
- INFINITE'S Hoya confesses to watching Hani's viral fancam six times, doesn't confess to the other 347 times he watched it.
- KBS claims another victim, deems 4Minute's "Just Do the First Verse" unfit for broadcast.
- Meanwhile, KBS tries to placate angry fans after "Fluttering India" airport incident. According to online accounts, show staff told fans to pretend they didn't know the idols. Staff defends their actions by blaming India's filming laws. The most interesting part of this story comes when one of the show's reps claims the embassy told them there were "around 300 K-pop fans in all of India." That stat is in no way true.
- Nude photos in scene from "Kill Me, Heal Me" draw complaints for being disrespectful to the model (who's apparently also a member of a girl group) for showing her face. Drama's production agency responds by basically saying, "She wasn't fully naked and we paid her, so what's the big deal?"
- Now for something I never thought I'd type: Michael Buble covers a kpop song.
- Psy participates in Jimmy Kimmel's "Mean Tweets - Music Edition #2," doesn't read my tweet ;___;
- Honey Lee talks about her diet. It's pretty typical: lots of veggies, small portions and no rice.
- And winner of this week's I Can't Believe It's News Award: Jay Park is pregnant.
